BannerZest Pro CommentaryDissatisfactory customer support - Version: 2.0.1, 10/7/2009 01:52PM PST

I bought BannerZest Pro in June 2009. In September, Version 2 came out. So, I used version 1.x for just about 3 months. You would expect an upgrade to be out of question. Not so with Aquafadas!

Though I like the product, this policy is ripping off customers!

BannerZest Pro CommentaryAn amazing piece of software - Version: 2.0.1, 9/29/2009 09:15PM PST

I have been using this product since the very beginning and I have total satisfaction with it. The new sound capacity is a plus and it gives a professional look.

Keep on developing BannerZest Pro with some more themes in the future.

BannerZest Pro ReviewPro or No? - Version: 1.6, 8/30/2009 10:36PM PST

You don't have to be a Pro to use this application and I would agree that those who can't get it to work are unfairly criticizing this application. I had the opportunity to buy it for half price in a deal and had my first "creation" up and running on an iWeb built site in about 30 minutes.
While the method of getting it to work on your website is not exactly a no brainer, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. I have outlined the procedure I used for getting a banner to run on a site built using iWeb '09 in a comment to the previous poster.
I do think that it would be hard to justify the cost of BannerZest Pro for use on on or two personal websites but, if you design for others, it is a useful application for quickly producing something different.

BannerZest Pro CommentaryEasy to use... impossible to load. - Version: 1.5, 5/26/2009 01:10PM PST

I have had this product for a while. It worked great in iWeb 08, but will not work in 09... at least in the fifteen ways I tried.

Save your money. Especially if you hate dismissive customer support.

BannerZest Pro ReviewGreat product - excellent results - Version: 1.3, 3/26/2009 09:57AM PST

I was on this page to get the update and glanced at the reviews. It seems that only the people who have problems with the program bother to write about it. I've been using it for about a year and appreciate its ability to allow me to create professional looking flash animations quickly and easily. People often ask me how I created the header in my web page. I would like to take more credit - but it is just a matter of selecting the type of slide show, adding the images, adjusting how I want it to appear and publishing. There is a bit of a learning curve. A program that has this power will take 30 minutes or so to understand. But once you get it, you can design and change slide shows in a flash (pun intended). If you do much web design, go for the Pro version.

BannerZest Pro ReviewPricey, Limited, Hard To Use - Version: 1.3, 2/18/2009 09:37PM PST

Brass Hammer
I suppose it might be possible for this program to be harder to use, I just cannot imagine how. I find that the number of themes are very limited, and not all that useful. The company seems more enamored by its flashy initial graphics than usefulness from a day to day perspective. Of course, I suppose it is possible that the program is more useful and I suspect, but that I simply can't make it work because it is so very difficult to use. Finally, there is the price. $129 for an application of this type is outrageous. $19.95 would be a gift to the developer.

BannerZest Pro ReviewFantastically easy to use! - Version: 1.2.5, 10/23/2008 08:26AM PST

Savilleguy
Brilliant, worth every cent!

Go for Pro if you are anything other than a hobbyist, excellent results, not so easy that you don't need to read dialogues though.

Certainly a lot easier to use than Flash!

I bring up the program. It tells me to drop an image on it. I drop an image on it. I get a checkerboard screen. And that is all I can do. Gee, what a great program.

BannerZest Pro CommentaryMisleading pricing listed - Version: 1.1.2, 5/28/2008 08:39PM PST

There is a listing for both the standard version and the pro version. Both listings are being advertised for $49. However the reality is the this product is actually $129 which is more than double the price listed here for the pro version. These people are fraudulently drumming up website traffic stats by not providing the actual price. They should either change the listed price or honor it...

"Devilishly easy to use..."

"Drag and drop images to the program and BannerZest Pro creates a Flash powered animation from this raw material in an instant."

"Pro does much more than its modest title leads you to expect, proving an ideal tool to complement any web designer’s arsenal."

Star Rating :5/5
