Warp ReviewMake Spaces practical for me - Version: 1.2.1, 11/19/2009 01:33PM PST

Cowicide
I'm all about gestures and intuitive interfaces that make me more productive. What I love about Warp is that if I want to have a quick area to put notes and stuff that won't be obscured by other windows, etc. and don't clog up my view of the Desktop, I just create two Spaces and then drag whatever I want to the edge of my window (I keep a very slight delay to it to prevent accidents) and drop it. Then if I want to quickly read the notes or whatever (and I mean quickly!) I just simply move my mouse to either the left or right edge of my screen and "poof"... I'm reading the note. Then I just move my mouse to the edge again to get back to whatever else I was working on.

Apple should integrate Warp options into Spaces stat and give this dev some cash in the process. In the meantime, I donated to keep this alive!

If you use Spaces, get this. It offers features that SHOULD be included in OS X, but are not. It makes navigating Spaces more like you would expect, if you were designing it yourself.

Finally! After Codetek's Virtual Desktop is stuck on development for years (shame on them) I've been looking for a replacement. NONE of the available products reached CDTV - caused by the lack of a pager. I don't want to have virtual screens in the menu bar or somewhere else - I definitely need a pager which shows the content of the single spaces.
I've tried Warp before - but without a spacer it was not useful for me - and now there is one! I'm really, really, really happy! A real big thanks to the Warp-guys - finally spaces became really usable for me.
Now my only wish is that this pager would be a little bit more customizable (border-width, space between the screen pics...) - but that's not the most important thing for the moment :-)
