iClipboard CommentaryCan't re-order clippings... - Version: 2.0, 2/28/2009 10:04AM PST

I'm still using the best clipboard manager ever made for the Mac: iSnip. Unfortunately it hasn't been updated for ages and, though it's still working for me on 10.5.6 it doesn't work for many others (the reason: you have to have content in iSnip's "History" or it'll crash). iClipboard is a pretty good competing app, but unlike iSnip, here's no way to re-order saved / often-used clippings. I tried to send this feature suggestion to Chronos but there's no quick and easy feedback link on their website, which is really lame.

Why do we bother. Get Cuteclips. Not a great icon, but the rest is brilliant. And only 5 Euro. Updates free for life. I have been liaising with the developer for ages, and she even listens to what I say.

Very cool.

iClipboard CommentaryHow could you, Chronos? - Version: 2.0, 2/26/2009 03:25PM PST

I am glad to say that many of the bugs in 1.1 have finally been dealt with. Of course, because this is a Chronos product, you have to pay the upgrade fee in order to benefit. I (yes, I admit my stupidity) paid for version 1.1. It was so bug ridden that I cast it aside as useless. Now, Chronos wants a $14.95 upgrade fee to fix what never worked. This is the same story as their SOHO Notes and SOHO Organizer: shoddy products, hefty upgrade fees in order to finally get functional software. Chronos = robbery.
