There aren't many programs of the actual Mah Jong game, and I've played most of them. This is the Japanese version, and there actually is a basic English rule set with this version. However, for a better 'rule set' (which I'm not sure, frankly, if this game follows exactly), see this excellent site: http://www.ofb.net/~whuang/ugcs/gp/mahjong/mahjong.html.
I still strongly recommend this game. Still under $15 USD.

I was able to play the demo without any problems. It does help if you know how to play mahjong, and I mean the REAL version and not the solo tile removing games that are prevalent. It's great to finally have a real mahjong game to play on the Mac platform.

I registered the game a while back and have enjoyed it immensely! Though I was able to figure out the differences in the rules of Damejong and mahjong with some internet searches and the like, I am very pleased to see that the developer listened to his/her customers and had the rules and gameplay files translated into english.

Great game with a good AI engine, it was well worth the price, which worked out to be less then $15!

This downloaded quickly and there was no English instruction. Running the app it would not allow the trial to work and asks for a purchase code. Pass on this one until they get it fixed where we can use it.
