I was able to find files I needed to uninstall from root folders Spotlight wouldn't locate. Leopard's Spotlight doesn't give you access to them anymore, which is a HUGE MISTAKE. For the price of the new Mac Pro's you'd think you'd get a better search engine, not one that does less. It's slow because it's more thorough than Mac's old Find, but worth the wait. Thanks for making this app. I don't know if it's possible, but maybe the developer can make it do a quicker search at some point by giving us the choice to choose visible or invisible files. Great Job in creating this!

Download BatchSpot'em - it enables you to add your own Spotlight keywords to a batch of Finder items.
I'll Keep This One Handy!

Since Leopard my Finder suffers Alzheimer's. It can't find a simple file, i.e. plist files in the Preferences folder unless I'm already in the User/Library. The weird behavior of the new Finder ticks me off. I'd rather tolerate the long time it takes to search the whole drive for one file than fighting with the new Finder.
Thanks!
