I was looking for a way to work and have the system tell me when a defined time has expired. For example, if I am about to miss a favorite TV show or an event, I simply set the file and forget looking at the clock every few minutes. I set it in the morning before going to work so that it reminds me when to stop and get moving...

Suggested improvements: sometimes it appears behind the working screen (happened while watching the OS X tutorial); suggest that it be returned transparent, in front, and with a single sound. Perhaps a button like an alarm clock snooze button that would give me a one time 5 minute additional time.
