Product Description:

PlugSuit is a plug-in manager that works on Leopard and allows many InputManager and SIMBL-style plug-ins to work, even in Apple's new operating system. PlugSuit also allows developers to write their own extenders without having to worry about injection themselves.

What's new in this version:

  • Improved behavior with 64-bit applications on Intel-based Macs. Note that PlugSuit is not compatible with these apps; however, previous versions of PlugSuit tried to modify them anyway (failing silently). To prevent potential problems, this version avoids modifying these applications.
  • The version of SIMBL-style extenders (such as Afloat) is now shown in the preference pane. (It is only shown if it's not "1.0" or "1.0.0".)
  • This version introduces experimental support for extenders that load in Carbon applications. Currently no extenders from â??labs take advantage of this support. (Extender authors: to load in a Carbon application, set the PlSSupportsCarbon key to YES in your extender's Info.plist file.)

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.5 Intel
  • Mac OS X 10.5 PPC

I've got SIMBL and several SIMBL plugins working in leopard already. What's the point of this package? SIMBL works just fine in OS10.5.6.

I have had not issues PlugSuit. The developer provided this useful Preference Panel when all was awry in the world of Safari plugins and has been improving it ever since. It is especially useful in placing those oddball plugins that do not seem to work correctly (e.g., Web Snapper, by TastyApps) through its drag-n-drop feature.

Warning, this thing is garbage!
I have thousands and thousands or event errors in my console.

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT TRYING THIS SOFTWARE!

Google it and you will see other users with the same ussue and it seems very difficult to delete/uninstall.
