Product Description:

Built from the ground up to resemble the media browser found in several Apple applications, the Karelia iMedia Browser is a stand-alone utility that can be used to quickly access a user's library of photos, sounds, movies, or bookmarks. The Karelia iMedia Browser allows users to browse their libraries of photos (iPhoto, Aperture, and Pictures folders); music (iTunes library, GarageBand songs, and Music folders); movies (from iTunes, iPhoto, and Movies folders), and bookmarks (from several leading web browsers). It can be activated either from the dock or from a small icon in the menu bar.

What's new in this version:

This update fixes a number of issues that were a result of changes in Snow Leopard -- most notably, it solves a problem with display of the "back of the window" where licensing information and display settings are found. It also adds two new localizations: Brazilian Portuguese, contributed by Paulo Neto, and Russian, contributed by Alexandr Slavyshensky.

Works right. No crashes. Preferences window does not show up as the front window, odd but not world-shattering. Runs ZERO versions of "movietool" as reported by Activity Monitor, only uses 7.3% CPU *while* playing a movie(1.3% while in background), will show movie names, but the option is strangely hidden under About iMediaBrowser -> Photo Grids -> Show Captions, and unbelievably, when I double click, WILL SHOW MOVIES!

As a Mac Genius, I found 99% of application crashes were due to people never checking/repairing their system with something like Diskwarrior.

Doesn't work right. Crashes all the time, preferences window won't show up as the front window, runs TWO versions of "movietool", chugs down CPU, won't show movie names, and unbelievably, WON'T SHOW MOVIES! Even as freeware, this is junk.
