Product Description:

This little mac app provides you with signal strength, network mode (GRPS/WCDMA/HSDPA), and statistics about your current connection (current throughput, total data transferred, connection time). It does this through a little icon in your menu bar (and a bigger window, if you want to see it), and also helps you keep track of your usage - no need for a nasty surprise from your provider.

SignalWatch See the signal strength and connection mode. No need to guess where to put the modem anymore. The icon in your menu bar gives you at a glance status information.

TrafficWatch If you're on a limited data plan, or even just curious, CheetahWatch lets you track your usage. If, however, you don't want to know, turning it off is just a mouse click (or two) away.

ConnectionWatch Keep tabs on your connection, see how much data you've pushed through, how long you've been connected, and just how much data you're pushing through.

Updates integrated updates check, know that you have the latest version easily.

CheetahWatch ReviewNot what I'd call an UPgrade! - Version: 1.3, 5/10/2009 02:47PM PST

I was using version 1.2 very successfully for some time when I found and decided to upgrade to 1.3 which is a nightmare. It regularly drops out, and ever since I tried to use the new usage allowance warning in preferences it regularly puts up alerts that I have exceeded my 0GB allowance (I set it to 2GB) so many times and so quickly that it fills the screen and I have to restart the MacBook in order to put a stop to it. I rue the day I upgraded this particular piece of software. My ratings reflect my feelings about version 1.3 - I loved 1.2 and if you are still using it I advise you not to upgrade.
