Wow! I'm in love.
I'm a professional illustrator who's wasted a lot of time time fighting with both the technology and the confounded support available for “professional” tools such as Photoshop, Sketchbook Pro, and Painter, Sketch Pad, etc. All current drawing and painting tools for professional illustrators are afterthoughts on the Mac, i.e. lazy ports. This is an AWESOME, unsung tool for illustrators, especially because it’s the truest Mac OS X experience available. The brushes are great! The customization is wonderful, automation is on a professional level, and I foresee even greater things in the future for Acorn!
P.S. Pen/Bezier drawing/selection tool please :)
Impressive little software!

I am a technical book writer and i'm glad i found this Acorn software. It makes sense first time i use it, didn't have to read manual (i know a lot of basics stuff of Photoshop). I know i can use Photoshop for what Acorn can do but many time i found myself going through too many menus in Photoshop to get something very simple done. I like keyboard commands for selecting tools. More key commands would be cool. But Still..There are plenty of rooms to make this software rocks.

My Feet Smell
I saw this over at the other software site: "People have been saying this for years: If nobody's complaining about the price of your application, then you've got it too low. ... Originally VooDooPad was only $9.95, and right now it's 30 dollars, and I, um, just keep on raising the price and nobody's complaining. They keep on buying it. OK, I'll do that."
