Create a slideshow in iPhoto choosing your audio via the "Music" button, select it and go to File>Export. The result: QuickTime movie file in .mov format. For file conversion use QTAmateur, rooVid Lite, iSquint and the likes.
Not bad, but FotoMagico is much better

SlideshowMovie is simple, but has limitations compared to professional sideshow programs such as FotoMagico.

1. I found no way to reorder the photos
