looks great but really doesn't cut it -- MacJournal is better

2. can't lock/password protect the journal -- this is not good.
3. formatting is limited
overall - macjournal is just a better program. this one could be great, just needs more work. I really like the calendar on the left panel... something i wish macjournal had... but looks aren't everything! i guess this would be good for someone who wants the bare minimum of features (the preferences window has two options and that's it!).

abc8xyzAlso, if I (try to) Quit the application and the Save, Cancel, Don't Save buttons are available, it won't always Save nor will it Quit. I have to Force Quit the application and lose any information that I type.

I’ve never tried Memoires, but from what I read here it doesn’t seem to have the flexibility of ViJournal and costs more as well.
Of course tastes vary. That’s one reason I tend to prefer ViJournal for any sort of journaling over the highly-touted MacJournal, which I also own.
