OpenDNS Updater may quit at launch. Put OpenDNS Updater in the global exclusion list in the APE preference pane and it should fix the problem.

This app just makes one task so much easier. And I don't have to remember to do it, it just does it. And since OpenDNS has a proven track record for thwarting the known bad sites, there is no reason not to use the app. I will continue using it as long as its around.
also, since it is a free app with no implicit contract, and since i'm giving it my OpenDNS password, i really think it should be open source so that i can be comfortable what it's doing with my info...
also some smaller problems:
- Preferences window gets lost behind other windows -- once another window is in front of it, can't command-tab to it, can't resurface it by selected Preferences from the menu item, must hide everything or use Expose
- About window sometimes displays behind current app, result is similar problem to Preferences window
- after manually running Check for Updates, the menu item's menus are permanently greyed out
finally, a feature request: new IP notification through Growl
