This program made me think at the crews of "conquistadores" that traded clinging and colored beads [colored basic list and rattling sounds] with natives, against rich and valuable resources [my own 29 bucks]. While the program tries to place its value in its simplicity, lack of critical features [for me] such as no printing capability and one single installation per license [I can't transfer all of those cute lists onto my laptop when I travel??!!] have left me with that terrible taste as when coffee is mistakenly sweetened with salt ... In my opinion, it needs some additional basic features to provide that value consistent with its current cost.

Too soon to give LS a full review, but so far it's been interesting - and I haven't experienced the Unexpected Quits reported elsewhere. One thing you've got to give to Funky Cloud - perhaps the best application come-on trailer in the PIM biz. I confess to some bias - it doesn't hurt that they used my first name.
I mean, compared to Palm, Now, Daylite... even iCal, which is so feature-less than it's worse than useless for me - there's nowhere to go but up!

interesting but buggy and not very 'Mac'.

LifeShaker is indeed an interesting 'to do' application, but that's as far as it gets (for me anyway). Not only is LifeShaker buggy (I kept on getting fatal errors when trying to change categories in the Goals list- LifeShaker just wants to shut down, and there's no way to send bug reports, or report bugs from the app itself), but it's also not very Mac-like. Yes LifeShaker is easier to use than so called 'complex apps', but at least those 'complex apps' will integrate with iLife/iWork applications, LifeShaker seems to be very much in a world of its own (you can't drag visual clues like photos or tablet scribbles etc to the squares either). Yes, having all those boxes that move around seems like a fun idea, however I suppose I wouldn't grumble so much if it wasn't so expensive either, but $29 seems an awful lot of money for something that doesn't speak with the outside world, and appears to have bugs. It would be nice if there was a way of integrating this with iCal too :)
