Neutrino Reviewwhat a crappy name!!!! even the icon looks like a dorcoration took a photodump on some clipart - Version: 1.49, 1/3/2009 02:03PM PST

however, this application is in my hallowed halls as one of the top 10 apps of my life.

it has made me, not only on my first launch, but on a number of others, made me gasp, say all sorts of celebratory four letter words while laughing in between, and dare i say.....made me tear up a little on the state and future outllook of software design.

*censored*in' bomb.

and here are some things that, to this day, make me wonder why duplication hasn't riddled their market...

• take the slide show and make it go as slow as possible and with the least amount if time per side.

go to the web site and others and start looking for quartz compositions. they are everywhere, theyb are free, and most often designed by cutting edge people with great taste.

• now, take those quartz comps you found and their stock ones and duplication them into your screensaver folder(s)! starting to feel light headed.....

• now go to http://www.apaulodesign.com/widgets/wallsaver.php and download the cleanest and most efficient app (as tested by me) that will run all of your new (and old) screen savers as desktops!!!!!!!!!! the light weight qtz files that AC uses and that you've hopefully downloaded will run quite fast as they are very light and video processor dependent (for the most part). this leaves you room to run the beautiful renderings smooth as silk. multi-monitors no prob.

• now get rid of the finder and download pathfinder. in their are sme nice detachable preview windows, which run beautifully, these quartz animations while you do others things,. some are subtle and some will give you a head ache. DO IT!

so, if anyone has other uses with particular apps regarding this new way of visualizing, please send me an email so we can maximize these amazing gifts.

i suspect a person might write a tight and intuitive app that would let a novice dabble, mash and tweak some of \his very own qtz files someday????

in the meantime, grab a projector, hook it up to your laptop and blast the ceiling at home while on your favorite drug with your favorite *censored* and go to town! toss in a fog machine and melt into each other!!!!

bbby

requests would be:
• more sound reactive animations
• more adjustibility. especially in their backgrounds and overall color (p.s. curves adjusting sliders?) also in the speed of the little buggers.
• make really really bomb ones that take time and charge a buck for them.
• speaking of bucks, make them work on iphones if possible.
• when making colors choices on multi-colors modules, stay away from rainbows, pleeeeease.
• drops the price to a dollar. i know. i know.....that sounds retarded. but shit, sell to 20000 for $30 or sell to millions for $.99! a-duh.

thanks for elevating the playing field, AC. change the name asap before the general public finds out. :)

Neutrino ReviewNot bad, but no FLAC support equals showstopper for me. - Version: 1.47, 12/30/2008 08:19AM PST

Digital Fury
It's a nice piece of software and the "FX Chain" is a neat idea, for those like me who have virtual effects in the form of AUs (i.e. PSP Vintage Warmer and MasterQ). I don't understand how the people behind AudioCodex can't figure out how to implement FLAC support, however they sure are spending a lot of time on eye candy for the app itself.

I guess I will stick for the time being with the free iTunes and Vox - but hélas without effects.
