Funny, I keep posting 5 star comments for this developer.... I never met him, but I considere him a friend, as his softwares are ALL fantastic and his support attitude is a dream come true!
Big Mean is a jewel, like all his other softwares, and this family man cares about the users!
I wish all companies were like this, the world would be a better place!
I would post 6 stars if this was possible: stable, easy to use, the creator of this is on the user's side, a dream come true.
I can't recommend this software enough: it does the job cleanly, fast, and if ever you have a problem, email the Boss and you get an answer and a solution.

A 100% positive experience. I tried all the rename/move/sort/ softwares available on Version Tracker, and this is THE solution.
Get it without worries - and no I'm not affiliated, I just want others to get the good Mac Karma too!
cheers

The author of this program stands behind all of his products and takes support very seriously. Issues are dealt with promptly.

As for the program itself it's a wonderful product that has many uses. If you work with lots of files or want to organize your collection of files then this product is for you. It is also very handy if you want to split up content into particularly sized chunks. Have multiple RAW files you want to back up on CD? BMFM can make sure you fill up each CD with as many files as possible so you use the fewest pieces of media possible.

There are tons of reasons to buy this program. Download the trial and see what you can do with it.

I've noticed big speed increases with 1.2 vs. 1.0 on my PPC Mac.
