The Tube CommentaryNo H.264 Support - Version: 2.9.3, 7/9/2009 04:42PM PST

byronical
This product still does not support H264.

Don't waste your money and time buying this product if you live in a country that broadcasts Digital TV in H.264/MPEG-4 formats.

For me the software came bundled with a DVB-T hauppauge USB stick. And to watch TV on my MacBook, I have to now buy EyeTV software http://www.elgato.com/

I watch TV with my Mac with The Tube for a while now and I have to say: Two thumbs up!
The coolest feature that I just LOVE is the free-of-charge iPhone App, with which you are able to stream live TV on your iPhone. Now I can sit on my balcony and watch TV.

I try to export a recorded movie to iMovie. But the export always stops exact at file size of 24,89 GB (26.727.696.000 Bytes) of the .dv file. So I cannot export my movies :-(
