Product Description:
The Tube is The Tube is the innovative and most modern TV solution for Mac users. Watch live television with the USB TV receiver TubeStick, pause running shows (Timeshift), go through the TV listings in the electronic program guide (EPG) and schedule recordings. With its TubeToGo webservice, The Tube lets you watch, manage and schedule recordings with your iPhone or iPod touch online on the go. The Tube is the only TV application with TubeTalk live-chat and a lot of other community features.
What's new in this version:
- A sound issue on Power Mac and Mac Pro has been fixed
- Crashes caused by AC3 decoding with certain channels have been fixed
- The window is now correctly resized after startup when using curtain mode
- The Tube handles corrupted EPG stores more reliable now
- Problems with digital audio on Mac minis have been resolved
- The window size is now handled more intelligently when switching between SD and HD channels
- The TubeToGo web gallery was accidently reset under rare circumstances. This has been resolved
- The Quartz Composition preview is now also updated when using the keyboard to switch compositions

- Minimal: Macintosh with PowerPC G4, 1.0 GHz or faster, 512 MB RAM

- Built-in USB 2.0 port
- CD-ROM drive
- Mac OS X 10.4 or higher
- Internet-Connection (required for activation)

Ouch - Sounds as bad as Mediacentral - Version: 2.6, 4/11/2008 04:09PM PST

Blimey, this product sounds as bad as MediaCentral. I tried that a while ago and it actually managed to wipe all the files from my Home folder (and I wasn't the only one it happened to). Can you believe that? From a simple FrontRow-like application.
I would advise everyone to steer well clear of anything from this company - slick web site, but rubbish and even harmful products.
