Feeds entries that act like email

How is this feed reader different from dozens of others? The simple answer:
Cyndicate treats feed entries like emails.
- can delete entries to a trash can (compare to NetNewsWire)
- can drag entries into folders (compare to Vienna)
- can flag, label, and rate entries, etc.
If you never ever keep your feed entries, then Cyndicate might not be the right feed reader you - although it still has a great learning algorithm (a kind of positive spam-filter) that is still worth trying.
However, if you ever do keep feed entries, Cyndicate's ability to save them in project folders is a useful feature lacking in NetNewsWire, Vienna, Safari, Mail etc. Cyndicate also supports smartfolders, blog app and social bookmark integration, applescript, and a host of other advanced features. Worth checking out.

It's buried but to get the website in the app toggle command-D in the article pane (Menu bar: Article>Show Feed Content/Linked Article). You can also select and drag a headline down into that area a la Vienna and NNW. So there's a plus: keyboard access.
Still, a contextual menu item for "Show Linked Article" would be nice.
Another plus, you can select multiple headlines and right-click to open them in tabs (but only in web browser). Can't do that in Vienna nor Safari.
Guess I'll be playing for a while.

$30 for a NON-Inline browser - Version: 1.0, 8/2/2007 08:23AM PST

I got excited when I saw this. I would love an alternative to NNW (decent price but ...) besides Vienna (free). Cyndicate does do what it does and seems to do it very well (for my little evaluation time). But in this day and age, as evidenced by all the apps that do inline browsing, there is no excuse and $30 is steep for not doing it.
Best news aggregator since Pulp Fiction :)

This news reader / aggregator fills the void left by Pulp Fiction. It treats the items from your feed as messages. You can read them, save those you want to keep in folders, and delete the rest. You can also filter your feeds so that new articles are automatically placed into your folders for later reading. It takes RSS feeds and uses the email metaphor for their management.
If you were a Pulp Fiction user, this app is a must. If you've never gotten your head around the whole RSS "thing" give this one a try.

One criticism: It says it's a 21 day demo, but on day 18, it starts giving you nag screens every 30 seconds, making the app functionally unusable.
