I've been using the *free* [beta] version for over a year on a *very* regular basis. Love it.

It works . . . with 10.4.11 (PPC) flawlessly.

Did I mention that it [version 0.6.1b is, er, *was* free? I'll send you the 1.4 MB dmg file if you want . . .

Sharpshooter CommentaryLove it, but problem remains - Version: 1.1b1, 8/20/2009 08:43AM PST

No matter what I do, I can't get the file extensions to be show. Even the new beta I installed today that addresses extensions didn't make a difference.

Sharpshooter CommentaryFeature Request - Version: 1.0.2, 2/3/2009 02:30AM PST

I’d actually buy it, but there some little details that I’m missing:
- check/ uncheck frequently used formats (this keeps the menu clean and makes choices faster)
- drag and drop files/folders to the "where" location instead of having to open it (so you can assign a destination folder much more faster)

Sharpshooter CommentaryA most useful utility - Version: 1.0.2, 1/17/2009 09:40AM PST

For some reason I just became aware of this latest version 1.0.2. I was running 0.6x.

The new feature of being able to save to a folder of your choice is EXTREMELY useful to me. I can set the folder and then save many screen shots to it. Then, I can set another folder and save many screen shots to it too. I save review comments on products I am interested in, and this allows me to put them in logical locations for me. I can save screen shots along with web links to the site etc., so all information is one place.

The PayPal site even links the license key directly to the application, so you don't have to enter that either. That is very helpful since the license key is quite long.

I am very willing to pay the reasonable shareware fee since I use the program so much.

I've been told I'm all thumbs, so Ten thumbs up!

I did not notice the "Shareware" label but Thank GOD for Time Machine as I had the previous DMG in it. The old version was not broken or in Beta. Just an opportune owner with a new company.
The old version had the features that got it the 4 stars. It deserves one less star for hard times.

Sharpshooter CommentaryIf it ain't broke... - Version: 1.0, 9/9/2008 09:15AM PST

Jason Gladstone
Typical example of taking a very well executed, simple, reliable utility (the original Sharpshooter) and trying to make it do more, more, more. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Give us a 'lite' version that does one thing: renames the screenshot.

Sharpshooter ReviewThis is great! - Version: 0.6.1, 12/17/2007 03:58AM PST

In the past I have had so many Picture x.png images on my desktop and had to rename them or open them all up to find the shot I was looking for. Apple should buy this idea from you - it is one of those ideas that is so obvious once you know about it, but you didn't think of yourself.

Nice one, guys!
