grh-svoThe alleged purpose of a screensaver is to avoid "burning in" an image that remains on your screen for hours. (Actually, years used to be more like it!)
So what the hell can the benefit be of a combined screensaver and desktop picture? A desktop picture is one that stays on your screen for...um...how long?
A bit like the manufacturers who insult your intelligence by claiming that their product is both shampoo and conditioner is one. What a laugh.
