open .pax files, but Stuffit Expander can't yet... Hope this gets some new versions and support for more file formats... ;-)

looking for something to decompress zips that supports file names longer than 31 characters, and this does the job just fine. Not perfect, but its imperfections aren't very serious.

developed any more? It's nice, except for some quirks. One obnoxious quirk is that it not only opens the folder containing the final result, but also the OpenUp folder itself if have the option to display the file set. I'd really like to see that fixed. Also, I'd like an option to auto-mount disk images or, better, to present a window in which the decompressed folder or item is presented, from which you can double-click it, or drag it elsewhere. Still, this works where StuffitExpander doesn't and is thus indispensable.

think OpenUp can compress stuff at this time, even if we can see some options for in the preference panel. I sincerely hope we will be able to compress with the future release.

than StuffIt Expander. Makes less time to decompress an archive, all Unix compress formats are handled and it's a Cocoa based-app. Smile B)

to be updated... Users don't have a Workspace anymore. Also, the subtitle says "Compress & expand archives..." - I can't figure out how to compress anything with it.
