It works perfectly on my PowerBook G4, but not on my Intel-MacPro (tool is triggered on incoming Outlook-Invitations, but does not proceed to iCal).

This is an easy and unobtrusive way of getting the Outlook invites into iCal. Works great.
I divert all my Exchange mail to a Google Apps Premium account, which I then download into Mail and my Blackberry (and for that matter my iPhone via IMAP). That works pretty well on the whole, except for calendar invitations -- until John produced YAI, I hadn't been able to parse Outlook invites automatically into iCal. Now it works fine (I'm using a private beta of 1.3.0 which works well with Leopard.)
It's developers like John that create the small finishing touches on OS X that Apple forgets, which is what makes Mac such a great platform. Just wanted you to know your work is much appreciated!
