MAC_1984AppCleaner provides more opportunities to delete associated files other than going to File Buddy.

trenthmThe SmartDelete feature is the icing on the cake for me. It runs in the background dormant until you need it, not cluttering my dock or menu bar. Oh and it only uses like 6 Megabytes of RAM when it isnt being used.
An amazing application, and one that I won't be AppClean-ing any time soon ;)
Great App!

Bill DawsonI forget that it's there until I send something to the trash and see its familiar face pop up asking if I want to delete all of an app's associated files Whew! I would have had this stuff filling up space forever.
AppCleaner knows what's related to an app and where its hidden - in Libraries, Application Support, etc.
Indispensable little tool.

Gennx30This searches for everything with the name MS OFFICE in it.
Let say MSO ALSO installs files like cs_lock 887837
or entourage_temp. The junk that gets left behind can be substantial at times.
dose this app "know" thru some kind of flags to delete said type files.

As a result of this deafening developer silence on Snow Leopard compatibility, I deleted AppCleaner and installed AppDelete instead. Now I don't want to insinuate that I think the shareware AppDelete somehow does a more thorough job than the freeware AppCleaner, because I don't know. But I do know I don't want a cleaner application mucking around on my hard drive and trashing associated deleted application files (albeit at my direction) when it hasn't been updated since well before a major OS version number upgrade.
