iConiCal CommentaryChanges Permissions - Version: 1.7, 6/12/2008 02:10PM PST

For me, the software seemed to work just fine...however it changes permissions for iCal each time it runs which MAY be harmless but I’d rather not see unnecessary permissions being repaired each time I run Permissions Repair.

This is not workign on my 10.4.9 system properly. Even when I restart it does not show the proper date.

How do I uninstall it?

iConiCal ReviewDoes not work - Version: 1.4, 3/13/2008 04:38AM PST

The software does not work well. If you don't restart your computer, it does not update the date. So you have the original problem all over. Even when I restart the computer, it does not always update the icon. It needs more work.

I want to install it but I can't start it from its application icon.

iConiCal CommentaryNo use for this since Leopard - Version: 1.6.3, 12/31/2007 11:52AM PST

There may have been a use for this before Leopard but now there isn't unless you want to change the color of the icon? In Leopard the iCal icon does update and has never not updated on my Mac.

iConiCal ReviewThis may seem obvious, but... - Version: 1.6.1, 12/29/2007 07:40AM PST

I installed iConiCal but find I rarely log in or restart, and my computer is always asleep at midnight. Why doesn't this program simply update the icon when I open iCal, which I do every single day at some point? Or better yet, have the program update on wake up. That would actually make it useful instead of merely a curiosity.

iConiCal Reviewnice effort but... - Version: 1.5.1, 11/7/2007 06:47AM PST

A previous reviewer commented as to why doesn't it show the month AND date in the dock. I agree. If the developer fixes that issue, hey, I'd pay for the program.

Also, when you uninstall, it freezes the icon on your iCal application to the date iConiCal was installed. I tried using iConiCal's preferences to change the iCal icon, it simply changed the one in the dock.

I ended up reinstalling iCal from the last 10.4.10 update

For pre 10.5 I am sure this will be a useful tool. I believe Leopard does update the date now on the icon in the dock. Well on my machine it does anyway.

That's how I expected the iCal icon to work in the first place.

Works fine by me. Proven to be quite handy after having installed.
