Mac Face CommentarySeems to have become Amigo - Version: 1.0.4, 10/28/2007 09:10PM PST

Krioni
It seems that the freeware Mac Face has become Amigo, which is shareware. Makes sense - it sounds like the developer supported Mac Face by having ads. I suppose Amigo is not ad-supported. Mac Face recommends an update to Amigo when you launch 1.0.4, and if you agree, it downloads Amigo 1.0.5. Here's the link to Amigo: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/33287

SIDE NOTE: If this double-posts, it is due to VT giving me a time-out error indicating that my post attempt failed. I wish they would just fix the lousy comment system here.

Mac Face CommentaryVery useful but takes a lot of memory - Version: 1.0.4, 8/30/2007 04:12AM PST

Mac Face is a very useful utility, and the integration with Growl is a great way to be made aware of status updates. However, as others have noted, it uses a lot of memory (around 200 Mb in my case) and for now I have stopped using it in order to free up this memory.

Mac Face ReviewNice Start! - Version: 1.0.4, 6/21/2007 06:45AM PST

Looks like you've got a good start, however I'd like to see more functionality in terms of groups and being able to manage groups as well as keep tabs on groups, its members and any information therein. It would also be nice to see a distinguishment between personally owned groups, groups for which I am an officer and groups of which I'm just a member.
