I have been using FCP 6.0.5 for some time now, the modification date of the app is November 21. Almost 1 month ago! Since VT has "updated" it seems as though they have lost all contact with the update world. This is NOT a new update from Apple so why is VT so far behind?

Following my original feedback- I have discovered the solution - If you are unable to upgrade to version 5.1.3 using automatig updater tool - do foolowing: go to Apple website --Mac OSX--Downloads--select Apple downloads--Final Cut Pro 5.1.3--log in under user name and enter the serial number of your software -- download 5.1.3 upgrade file which DOES INSTALL without any problems.
Apple must have posted damaged or faulty file on server which is accessed by automatic Software Update tool.

Automatic Software Updater recognises that Final Cut Pro 5.1.3 is required , ( to update existing version 5.1.2) but when the .pkg file is dowloded, it can not be insalled . Tried several ways, but they all fail. What is going on?!
