PandoraJam Troubleshooting ReportFix for ClickToFlash and PandoraJam conflict - Version: 1.3 build 250, 3/10/2009 11:49PM PST

If you launch Pandora and the plug-in breaks (i.e., you see what looks like a Lego in the window), it may be conflicting with the ClickToFlash plugin. I have published an application which fixes this at http://www.jeffporten.com/?p=933.

PandoraJam ReviewSo well done! - Version: 1.3 build 250, 2/1/2009 09:44AM PST

Wow, this is a killer app and extremely well thoughout! The attention to detail rocks.

Aspects I like are as follows:

- no browser needed
- small enough to be out of the way, but large enough to have all of the web based features
- recording!!!!!
- thumbs up recordings automatically kept in a folder; thumbs down recordings not kept at all
- ability to automatically add to iTunes or not (my daughter does, I don't)
- automatically gets the cover art
- can edit stations etc.

One thing I don't care for (probably not PandoraJam's fault):

- 64 bit rate recordings

However, I assume that they are broadcast in this manner, or that this is done to prevent "issues". Either way, I'm really impressed with this app, and strongly recommend it to all others. His Comic book app is great too.

The only issue is that I don't know what to suggest to the poor Windows users who can't use PandoraJam. Well, aside from, "go buy a Mac".

PandoraJam Reviewbit rate - Version: 1.3 build 250, 9/13/2008 07:38AM PST

Great program with one downside. All the songs are at a bit rate of 64 kbps. I would prefer to get them at 128 or higher. Still, it works great and for what little it costs, even the low bit rate is acceptable.
