Professor Fizzwizzle and the Molten Mystery ReviewI love this game... - Version: 1.03, 6/29/2007 06:17PM PST

And so do my kids (4 & 7 year-olds). They enjoy watching me, kibbitzing, and laughing at the cute animations. These are HARD puzzles, and even with the power of three brains, we sometimes have to watch the solutions (thankfully provided) -- sometimes when a solution includes something unexpected we all erupt in "AHA" laughter.

Fun, challenging, gorgous...and inexpensive. I think this is one of the best games for whole families that I can think of. Oh, I also play it when the kids aren't around -- it's that good.

Our family is enjoying this Fizzwizzle as much as the earlier one, and that was a favorite of ours. It has several levels that lets each of us tackle puzzles at his or her level. Runs fine on an older G3, too.

I am the sort of game player who likes a good puzzle - not som much the lightning fast reactions and timing - just a set of parameters and an ostensibly simple goal. Fizzwizzle fits the ticket perfectly. Friendly, colorful, tasteful and challenging. I love it, and if I wasn't such a cheapskate ($0 spent on games in the last three years) I would buy this one and its prequel first - before any other that I have played. I am giving it 4/5 on price because it seems like it is probably a very fair price, but I don't like paying for software, even when creative, thoughtful people have thrown their hearts into it, as these developers obviously have. Good work!
