Product Description:
Keep an eye on your favorite baseball team (MLB or minor leagues down to Class A) - all the information you need in one single and small widget. Show the current scoreboard, full results from previous days, the schedule for the upcoming week (game times are displayed in your local time), or current division and wildcard standings. For ongoing or past games, show the score overview and current game situation while having a convenient link to the full box score only a click away. The widget is optimized to retrieve the smallest amount of data required and thus is much faster than refreshing the same data in your browser (which typically uses about 20 to 40 times as much data to display).
What's new in this version:
NOTE: as of January 2008, this widget is no longer maintained or supported. All of its functionality is now included in the new Sports Fan widget.

I love being able to get in game info on each game by hovering the mouse over the line scores of games in progress. Also, the ability to switch to the standings mode for all 6 divisions in both leagues along with seeing the wild card races makes this widget indispensable on a daily basis.
