Boldt 24-Pack Volume II is a package of 31 software instruments for GarageBand / Logic. Boldt 24-Pack Volume II is a shareware product. If you find it useful, please pay a shareware fee using the included instructions. You decide how much you want to pay. This is a motivator for me to continue developing Boldt 24-Packs. Boldt 24-Pack Volume II includes these instruments:

Why is it still called "Boldt 24-Pack" if it has 31 instruments this time?

The format of the instruments is EXS-24, and that is where the 24 comes from. The first Boldt 24-Pack did actually have 24 instruments, but I wanted this one to have more.

What's new in this version:

Fixed a tuning problem with Boldt Solo Viola.

Additional Requirements:

IMPORTANT: You MUST have a complete installation of GarageBand in order to use this software. If any of the instruments have a sine wave, or organ-type of sound, you need to reinstall GarageBand to fix it. Reinstalling GarageBand will not affect any of the music you have written. The GarageBand installer is located either on your iLife disc or on your Mac OS X disc inside of the additional applications package.
Runs on any version of Apple GarageBand including 1.0. Also works in Logic Express and Logic. You may have installation issues if you use Mac OS X prior to 10.3, but once installed, Boldt 24-Pack will run on any Macintosh that can run GarageBand.

Designed for use on GarageBand 1, there may be more appropriate icons available in GB3 such as for the Sitar. This is, of course, no big deal to change. Also, the Ovation guitars are an octave low. Again, no big deal, just up the track's transpose to +12 and all is well. Such little things are not to be compared with these great additional instruments to your GarageBand arsenal. The Banjo and Accordions are welcome additions and saves me having to use less than great SoundFonts. So my rating for this will remain very high despite its few quirks.
