Product Description:

Badia Exportools for Adobe InDesign CS3 lets you automate the process of saving document pages and selections as individual files in several popular formats, including EPS, PostScript, PDF, Rich or Plain Text, JPEG, SVG, INX and INDD. You can choose which pages to export (single pages as well as spreads), the rules governing the file names, and the application to open the exported files in.

What's new in this version:

  • Fixed: Settings not being retained when exporting selections, or pages/spreads as INX/INDD – text, view, guide and grid preferences, layer colors, unused layers.
  • Fixed: Error message when exporting small selections.
  • Fixed: Hang when scrolling export log list while exporting.

Badia Exportools for InDesign CommentaryWhy Does This Plug-in Exist? - Version: 1.1, 6/25/2007 12:37PM PST

There is a need for additional export options for InDesign, but InDesign already exports in the formats Badia's product "automates". How about "Save as Illustrator CS3", or "Save as Photoshop CS3", with layers? Or how about being able to convert Illustrator and PDF files to InDesign CS3?
