BabyaTV ReviewWorks Very Good on My Mac - Version: 1.5, 10/19/2009 05:12PM PST

getittowork
I just started using BabyaTV to record me sitting in front of my MacBook Pro 2.16 Ghz. running 10.4.11. It works great for audio and video using the camera in my mac. It is very small program and all you have to do select audio, then select video and then hit record. It has pause which a lot of the programs do not (REC for audio). It has a selection for DV and one for a firewire camera. It has plenty of audio and video selections for quality including frame rates. I would like it to be able to use my web browser as a source. That would be huge, but it really does not promise that. It is not buggy and is the right price. Again, I would use it everyday if it captured internet video. The controls and selections are mac type. Two thumbs up and five stars for what it does do. When they make it able to record from the web I am going to review it again. Did you hear me developer?

Hello BabyaTV users,
The inital release of BabyaTV was supposed to be a universal binary-but was actually a Intel only build (so PPC users could not run it).

A 330KB UB build will be posted to http://babyasoftwaregroup.googlepages.com/downloads soon-unzip and copy to where BabyaTV.

I apoligize for any inconvenience caused to PPC users.

Thanks,
A.A.

This does not work on a Power PC Mac. It's Intel only. On a G5 you get a dialog box that says this program will not work on the this operating system. (Mac OS 10.4.9) Get info shows it's an app for Intel only.
