This is not a bad product, just check the audio sampling rate. I was converting a video clip that the audio was recorded at 44.1 KHz, I used the "default" settings and it sampled at 48KHz, which puts the audio track out-of-sync with the video. After changing it to 44.1KHz manually everything syncs up. I think the default setting should check the audio BEFORE converting.

I was wondering;
Is this program redundant, when you already have either Popcorn 2 or Toast 8, or does it add further options, not available in the other Roxio programs?

I personally like Crunch. It's a little expensive at $50, but I was able to get it for less $40 and took a chance. This does exactly what I need and the quality is not bad at all. It looks great on my HDTV and make converting Xvid and DivX files a snap.
Converting my home movies also worked well.
