I'm running a Dual 2 gHz Processor G5 Tower running OS X 10.4.10 and it won't launch. Doesn't stay open long enough to even show up in the Doc. Bummer.

Useful addition to iTunes

I wanted a player that would play ogg, APE and FLAC files and this easy to use program does just that.
I didn't find the replay gain feature worked perfectly though. I have some low volume FLAC files and they were just as low volume using Play as they were using Amarok (on my Ubuntu Linux box).
I shall definitely keep using Play.

When unzipped it makes 12,8 MB, still not too bad.
Small both beautifull

Bravo! A program which I was waiting for.
An universal reader. The only one to my knowledge which reads as many formats while occupying so little space (3,1MB).
It is pleasant to use and has several interesting characteristics of which, in particular, the "replay gain".
Even if I sought especially a reader, Play constitutes, moreover, a powerful tool for managing audio files.
And, it's free.

And btw this is the only player that correctly ordered some of my albums when importing to the library! schweeeet, only complaint so far are a couple of jumps when playing flacs but absolutely nothing serious :) Not rating this yet as I've only been using it a day but very happy so far.
