Submerge ReviewGood overall, but sliding - Version: 1.8.1, 9/29/2009 01:50PM PST

POIKKEUS--2008
Through v. 7.1, Submerge was stable and effective, offering an easy-to-use subtitling application that could be adapted to anything from iPods to TVs. What's more, the price is right at $9.

The latest version, 1.8.1, has a few problems. The subtitles may appear in the very center of the screen, not the bottom like before. Processing clips isn't as smooth as past versions. Just as troubling, but for a different reason, customer service is never responded, or even acknowledged inquiries. Using their online support form was useless.

Submerge ReviewGreat - Version: 1.7, 4/27/2009 03:26AM PST

The best app of it's kind. i could not find anything better(maybe RoadMovie).

It would be great if a future soft render option will be added!

There are many font and encoding (more then enough languages) options.

A little slow but that's QuickTime!

I f you need your videos on almost any device then you should buy it.

I use this software for multiple tasks, like watching series with subtitles not sync, and obviously to export to my iPod movies with subs burned on it.
Keep up the good work!
