Heroes of First Star ReviewI concur, this game needs some work. - Version: 1.2, 8/1/2007 03:46PM PST

As StClairLandsDown mentioned, this game becomes frustratingly boring fairly quickly. You are pitted against an insanely strong guild in pursuit of Guild Reputation Points which are all but unattainable. With out these your progress is completely blocked. You will spend your "Thousands of hours of gameplay" in park.

Instead of access to these areas being regulated by an in game point system or other game controlled system they have been reduced to a pawn in a typical Classist Regime scenario. Where access to higher areas is doled out by the Uber Rich to the huddled starving masses. Lower guilds are constantly brow beat by the Upper guilds and their complaints fall on deaf ears as the Administrators pander to the whims of the Uber guild.

The concept is strong and the opportunity to create tight knit guilds and larger communities based on mutual trust is there. The realization that a Guild which gets free reign to hold all forts that they get to first and has exponentially stronger Characters and Equips is not part of a fair and balanced society is lacking. This nepotistic and discriminatory game is doomed to fail without a quick update.

Heroes of First Star ReviewOne of the best games i've played - Version: 1.1, 6/22/2007 01:40AM PST

As the title says this is one of the best games i have ever played, free or other wise. I dont know what the other user is going on about "having to beat the guild leaders" your guild helps you through the game, they dont fight you.

The gameplay is simple, you have a party of 5 characters with which you battle monsters and other players, it is a turn based stratergy game. There are special events constantly happening, at this moment there are 3 events planned for the future.

The players in this game are the kindest i have ever met, they willingly give you items and help you in quests, and because it is such a tightly knit community any unwanted spammers or foul mouthed players are banned instantly, usually as soon as an admin comes on which is about every 2-3 hours.

If you are planning on downloading a game i would suggest downloading this one if you like stratergy or google "first star online 3" for an action based one with all the same features and players

Heroes of First Star ReviewNot worth it - Version: 1.0, 5/19/2007 04:48PM PST

The game is fun for a little while, but it quickly becomes repetitive and slow.
To advance in the game you have to beat the leader guilds, who have access to better weapons, and lots of favoritism from the admins.
This makes the game even worse... you have to play in the same area all the time.
