Product Description:
Gradient Panel is a user interface for creating, editing and sharing gradients (colour ramps). Developers can incorporate the panel into their Cocoa applications easily and for free. This demo shows what the panel does and can do.
What's new in this version:
- Plays well (correctly) with other NSColorWells in your app
- 'Clear' menu changed to 'Delete'
- Disabled drag deletion of swatches from user library - to easy to do it by mistake
- Removed RGB pop-up info when right-clicking a stop - not really useful and got in the way

The panel is very nice and all, however I would be very reluctant to use this framework as it's closed source and there is no obvious way to get ongoing support and no guarantee that bugs will be fixed in a timely fashion. If it was open source it would be a different story.

This UI is great - looks simple, goes deep. Makes what can be quite hard truly simple - compare with Photoshop's 3 model dialogs to do the same thing! I look forward to developers picking this up and adding to their graphics apps. If it becomes standard or semi-standard, so much the better.
