Always Worked Great -- What Happened? - Version: 1.0, 7/27/2009 12:47PM PST

LOVE this app, have been using it for a couple of years, but all of a sudden it doesn't work for me. I get the download status window, it immediately tells me it's "finished downloading," but the saved .flv file is empty. What's up?

Not Perfect, but Best Tool Out There

Best tool out there. Big problem is that it won't grab hi-def videos from youtube (a feature that launched since TubeTV's most recent release, so hopefully the dev is working on this).
Tabbed browser windows (or at least multiple browser pages) would be cool.
One good thing is that Safari tends to crash randomly playing flash video. I can use TubeTV to "protect" my Safari session. It almost never crashes.

Got a lot going for it, but some pretty big oversights in my opinion.
This is a browser by nature - not including tabbed window functionality, not even the ability to have multiple windows at once is almost a deal-breaker in itself.
Since this is also a download application, I'm surprised that there isn't an option to enable/disable/cancel automatic video loading in the browser. Presumably the purpose of this app is download whatever flash video that catches your eye so you can watch it later offline. When downloading multiple videos, being able to turn off the auto-load would certainly help bandwidth burden.
When downloading more than 4 videos at a time, errors continually occur to one or more of the downloads.
No ability to select individual videos in the progress window.
