The script does just what it states, but most of the time when I run it, all my Finder windows close! This is a real pain! I guess that's because it hasn't been updated in 2 years.

First launch and the finder has been hung. 'clamd' is churning away in Activity Monitor for the last 15 minutes using 165% of CPU on my G5 1.8 dual PPC running 10.4.11. Don't touch it!!!
Works great

This script works great for me. Better than going to the Terminal just to run "ls" all the time. I am running OSX 10.5 on an Intel machine.

It's a script, not an application. Just double click and the script runs, then auto quits. To hide again you have to run the script again. A little slow but does okay.
Great little Automator application

It does toggle the hidden (dot) files in the Finder.
Since it relaunches the finder you may not end up in the same folder where you started, or in the same view.
