I was greatly impressed with how quickly one could enter class information using only the keyboard. Other *MUCH* more expensive programs (ehem... Rose) make it extremely difficult to do this. Unfortunately, the interface (as others have noted) was very much out of sync with MacOS X HI guidelines, and this is considerably distracting. I also found that the reverse engineering for Objective-C didn't work at all. This could be quite a good product if the author spends some time bringing the UI up to date.
The basics of…

UML-based code generation without the weight (see Poseidon at www.gentleware.com to compare). Allows rtf output which is great for non-developers like me who need something to talk to during design workshops. Mikael is quick to respond on bugs and glitches of which a few remain but none are showstoppers. Nice little product, well worth the fee...

haven't looked in the "Code Generation Templates" folder for a few versions: There is an Objective-C code-gen template already there.
ObjectPlant has a…

very capable but simple code-generation template language/syntax. There is a manual/reference included with ObjectPlant. So, if you're really determined to use Obj-C, you CAN write your own code generation templates for whatever programming language you want. I have heavily customized my own C++ code-gen templates to format everything exactly as I want it. Yeah, the interface looks dated, but then again the price/feature ratio can't be beat! =-)
Yikes. Fairly complete…

implementation of UML, with a lot of nice tools, but sheesh... welcome to 1986. With an interface like that, who needs Classic? I get all nostalgic for System 6 just looking at it. Modal dialogs with no push buttons are also an adventure. Being able to resize use cases and things of that nature might be nice, too.
When will there… - Version: 3.1.5, 11/20/2002 02:41AM PST

but has some drwaing problems. Layout algorithm is a little bizzare. Would like to see XMI import/export. Overall a very nice tool. I paid the shareware fee.

lack of Obj-C support, this is still a useful tool in the design process. The shareware price is very reasonable. Hopefully the activity diagrams will be added soon.

why doesn't it support Objective-C? I code only in Cocoa which makes this useless for me.

package. Does source code generation using templates, but generated source needs to be reviewed afterwards, especially if interface changes occurred. Allows you to draw basic design diagrams, which are essential for design reviews. Some drawing bugs, especially when you move boxes around on screen, and update bugs, but fewer with each release. A little care allows bugs to be worked around - no crashes in my experience.
