Yes, you pay for it, but its a real good alternative, cause they append no ads to the messages. while callwave limits international sms to 5 per day.

Current version is 1.3. That said, I haven't figured out the efficacy of using this SMS app, which apparently incurs a charge to the sender, when SMS (CallWave) does it for free.
