RapidoSerial CommentaryI´ve not tried out RapidoSerial yet, - Version: 2.1, 5/5/2008 02:15AM PST

because I couldn´t find any informations about (RC4)encrypted and password-protected saving the database. NO built-in password generator? Are my suspicion Is confirmed, is 'Pastor' still my favorite. But RapidoSerial is worth a try.

The concept and interface are nice, but there is much missing that makes me wonder whether sufficient attention has been paid to this software's development:

It will import all the applications from your Applications folder but will not go any deeper than one level. I have my applications separated by category (communications, graphics, databases, etc.), and I must open each individually.

There is a warning about removing an application from the list. If you check the box that says "Don't ask anymore," it will be ignored and continue to present the dialog each and every time.

When entering information manually, you cannot tab from one field to the other.

If you go to the website for SerialSticker you'll find that the developer sold his apps to app4mac, which already publishes RapidoSerial:

<http://www.eagle-of-liberty.com/index_en.php>

I wrote to app4mac about some suggestions for new features but didn't receive a reply.

I have since discovered License Keeper, which seems to have all the features I suggested to app4mac. RapidoSerial is free, however what's the point if it doesn't do what I need and there's no support?
