Good to know that Apple is not leaving its out dated hardware behind.(?) Must be someone new to Apple. They have a history of abandoning older hardware.

This brought my two years dead shuffle back to life! I came close to throwing it away several times but I held on to it for some reason. Good to know that Apple is not leaving its out dated hardware behind.

I had lost all hope of my 1st gen shuffle ever working again. The device worked electronically but wouldn't put out any audio, even after multiple resets. This update fixed that. My only regret is the 2nd gen shuffle I bought a month ago.
