Product Description:

ChatterBlocker uses digital audio technology to mask the sound of speech and other distractions so you can stay focused.

ChatterBlocker does not use noise-cancellation. Instead, it masks unwanted conversations with a soothing blend of nature sounds, music and background chatter. The goal is to render speech less intelligible, because intelligible speech is often the most distracting sound in the workplace.

ChatterBlocker also offers mindfulness meditation tracks intended to increase concentration, reduce distractibility and minimize the stress response to office noise.

Use ChatterBlocker to tune out disruptions and increase concentration at the office, airports, cafes or anywhere.

What's new in this version:

Fixed an initial display glitch. Fixed a "lock file" error one user experienced. Upgraded to latest sound libraries.

If you get a "not properly installed" message - Version: 1.1.2, 3/24/2007 12:19PM PST

If you tried installing the 1.1.1 version (which was broken) and then get a "not properly installed" message for the 1.1.2 installer, you will need to delete the following files before installing:

/Applications/ChatterBlocker.app
~/Library/Application Support/ChatterBlocker
/Library/Receipts/ChatterBlocker 1.1.2 for Mac - Demo.pkg

Also, double-check that your browser cache isn't displaying the old 1.1.1 download. The download page is http://chatterblocker.com/downloads.html .
