Product Description:
The Restaurant Game is a restaurant simulation where you play as a customer or waitress. This game is a research project at the MIT Media Lab that will algorithmically combine the gameplay experiences of thousands of players to create a new game. In a few months, we will apply machine learning algorithms to data collected through the multiplayer Restaurant Game, and produce a new single-player game that we will enter into the 2008 Independent Games Festival. Everyone who plays The Restaurant Game will be credited as a Game Designer. More information online: http://theRestaurantGame.net
What's new in this version:
- fixes a bug in generating the cumulative personality profile from all games played
- added checkbox to the survey for reporting inappropriate behavior

Runs great on my 2 Macs and looks pretty cool. I had some crash issues with other versions, contacted the developer, got very good responses.

so realistic and satisfying, i have completely stopped going out to bricks and mortar prepared food providers. the restaurant game for mac os x is life changing and revolutionary!

I've tried running this on my intel macbook pro and it seemed to run fine until I tried using the tutorial, when the 3D scene was displayed I moved my mouse around for a bit and then the entire application crashed.
The error report said something about a kernal protection failure, I'm running under 10.4.9 at the moment.
