Product Description:

The Missing Sync for BlackBerry provides reliable connectivity and synchronization of contacts, calendar events, tasks and more between BlackBerry handsets and Macintosh computers. Designed with the same synchronization technology used by Mark/Space's other award winning synchronization products, The Missing Sync for BlackBerry is the perfect companion for Mac users who rely on their BlackBerry handset to keep up to date and stay organized.

Contacts from the Mac's Address Book and calendar events and tasks from iCal are kept in sync with the corresponding applications on the BlackBerry. Repeating events, event alarms and task status are all synchronized from Mac to BlackBerry and back.

The Missing Sync includes Mark/Space Notebook, a Mac OS X application for creating, sorting and searching notes. It also syncs with the BlackBerry. Now, all those tidbits of information you have can be readily in hand when you need to access them.

The Missing Sync copies iPhoto albums and iTunes playlists containing unprotected audio files to multimedia-capable BlackBerry devices, like the 8100 (Pearl) series and the 8800 series models. Play slideshows or even listen to your favorite podcast.

To oversimplify things by saying that "It just doesn't work" doesn't quite give a full picture of the frustration and pain associated with this product. I rely on my calendar for business and when this software randomly deletes data from my iCal I lose records of my time which means I lose money. Thankfully I backup , but having to restore my info every time I sync isn't my idea of software that works. I've been back and forth with their tech support numerous times and even paid for the 2.0 upgrade to the software hoping that it would eventually work.

Don't buy it, don't try, and if you have time send them hate-mail.

Stick with the official Blackberry Desktop software recently released for mac. It has its flaws but it works a hell of a lot better than this...thing.

I've tried and tried, but as others note, this is a product that gets worse with every release. At this point, the client simply doesn't run on my BB, making syncing impossible. BlackBerry should be supporting Mac by now, but in the meantime, this "solution" is simply an overpriced boondoggle. One of the worst experiences I've had with any software product.

I have been using this software for several months now, and wow, does it suck. Seriously. I have been patient with tech support, but like other reviewers have said, response times are seriously lacking. I love my blackberry bold, but without a reliable way to sync, I'm pretty much stuck. I'm going to try Google's blackberry sync app, but if that doesn't work, I guess it's off to the iPhone. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY Missing Sync for BlackBerry.
