Trial period broken, or WAY too short... - Version: 1.2, 7/31/2007 12:37PM PST

I played the game for exactly 3 minutes (and lost pretty quickly still figuring it out). I went to click start to try again, and it would not let me play any more. I quit, relaunched, it told me I had 0 minutes of gameplay left on the trial. Sheesh...3-minutes seems a bit too short to figure out whether I like this game or not...

When I saw the high score on the website, I wrote to the authors:

They responded:

Every control scheme has it good and bad points that you have to get used to. After using the mouse for awhile, I felt that the iPhone/touchscreen version would be perfect for this game; but that too has it's downside (my finger tended to block the next piece). My big complaint is that the game is that it only has one "skill level". It would be a much more enjoyable game if there were a few settings to choose from for us beginners. Before very long, the pieces start coming at you at an unbelievable rate; it's like going from level one to level ten in Tetris. Also the power-ups are a bit of a pain. They suit the game well, but they should be used differently. The 2x multiplier is fine. The "nuke" piece is good, except that it jacks up the speed after using it. The "slow down" piece is also fine, but it's temporary - the speed goes right back to where it was after 25 seconds.
