Product Description:

Caffeine is a tiny program that puts an icon in the right side of your menu bar. Click it to prevent your Mac from automatically going to sleep, dimming the screen or starting screen savers. Click it again to go back. Hold down the Command key while clicking to show the menu. The menu now has a sub-menu for deactivating Caffeine automatically after a number of minutes.

What's new in this version:

  • Time-limited activation - Make Caffeine turn off after a number of minutes
  • More minor cosmetic changes

Hi Guys. I like the simplicity, but is there any way that you can make this app work while the lid is closed, like InsomniaX? Yours achieves a simple effect, save that even when I want to sleep the screen manually, it wakes up again, but then, if I could use your app to keep things going while the lid is closed, it is handy to have the screen sleep to keep the temperature down.

Anyway, something to think about in the future as an option for the future, if you like.

to stop all these things Caffeine does WHILE THE LID IS CLOSED!!! Any ideas or recommendations for that?
