Novell GroupWise Client Troubleshooting ReportGroupwise 7.0.3 & Mac 10.5.2 - Version: 7.0.3, 2/12/2008 12:00AM PST

Works & runs on 10.5.2 OK, does crash from time to time, especially when quitting! Only thing that bugs me is the missing titles in the columns, NAME, DATE, TO, FROM etc.. anybody else noticed this, it's only happened since going to OS 10.5.x???

Novell GroupWise Client ReviewFortunately.... - Version: 7.0.3, 2/6/2008 12:00AM PST

My company has IMAP activated on the Groupwise server at work, and Apple Mail has no problem syncing with it. I also like that iCal recognizes Groupwise appointments and will send a response when you accept an appointment. The 7.x web interface is nice too. As long as I don't have to use the Groupwise client, I'm happy.

Novell GroupWise Client ReviewAnother kludge from Novell - Version: 7.0.2, 12/1/2007 05:08PM PST

Like every product for Mac OS that Novell has ever made, this one is a kludge: slow, greedy for memory, unreliable, with a poorly designed and incomplete interface. It often stops working without giving an error message of any kind. Today it simply slowed to a crawl without indicating to the OS that it had stopped. Finally my VPN connection was terminated remotely.

Some delays are due to its ponderous process of archiving mail files locally. Other delays are inexplicable. None are represented with anything so high-tech as a progress bar.

Programmers at Novell probably think that Aqua and Cocoa are optional iPod colors. When will this company get a clue? They should be ashamed of their Mac OS releases.
